Do you really need Eye Cream?

Do you really need Eye Cream?

So...To my surprise.., Eye Cream turns out to be the most controversial item in your skin care routine. Lots of people ask do I really need Eye Cream? You'll hear many experts argue it's just a marketing ploy by cosmetic companies, and others saying Eye Creams are formulated specifically for delicate skin around the eye, containing active ingredients aimed at the problems like fine lines, crows feet or dark circles.

I can only speak from my personal experience. I went without using any eye cream for a week and quickly came to the conclusion that Eye Cream is a must have item for me, non-negotiable! (I guess in part may due to my age and the fact I have very dry skin). However you do need to choose carefully by depending on your skin type.

To be honest, most Eye Creams contain a good balance of hydrating and nourishing ingredients. The problem is, a lot of products contain unnecessary and sometimes harmful ingredients too! Does this mean expensive Eye Creams are better? Definitely Not! I have researched the well known high street brands (I won't mention brand names) and found most of them are not recommended by dermatologists. Understanding the particular nature of your very thin, sensitive skin around your eyes is extremely important as you start to age. We've come up with two fantastic eye creams for you to try

ONE DAY, ONE PACK - From Pyunkang Yul

Hygienic and Hydrating, these eye cream pouches from Pyunkang Yul are packed with skin-nutritious ingredients to combat signs of ageing. This luxurious eye cream is formulated with milk vetch root extract which firms and brightens dull skin around the eyes. Ginseng promotes synthesis of collagen to restore elasticity, while shea butter adds deep hydration and strengthens your skin’s moisture barrier. Individual pouch format protects cream against oxidation, heat and contamination. Use one pack for day and night to keep sensitive skin around eyes firm, bright and youthful. For all skin types. Especially wonderful for those with extremely dry, dehydrated skin.

Thank you Farmer Miracle Age Repair Eye Cream

The perfect trio of Argan Tree Kernel Oil, Ceramide 3 and Shea Butter help prevent moisture evaporation and improve the resilience of the skin under eye area. If you're looking for a soothing eye cream that's deeply nourishing, this is it. Great for those with dull, dry or sensitive skin. Also effective on the neck area that begins to lose resilience.

Petitfee Gold & EGF Eye & Spot Patch

And also if you have a tiny little bumps under your eyes, you should use a gel type other than the heavy cream type. These cysts contains oil and keratin are sometimes associated with the use of heavy Eyecream.
Petitfee gel type eye patch is a great solution.

Whether you have a fine lines, crows feet or dark circle around the eyes, the best treatment comes from prevention and protection. Most of these ageing signs and damage to your skin come from sunlights! Please remember to wear sun protection cream everyday!
