My Skincare Philosophy

My Skincare Philosophy.

There is such a variety of Korean beauty products and K-Beauty brands out there, it's so hard to make a choice. From cleansers and toners, to essence and ampoules, day cream, night cream, eye cream and on and on...
Do I really need to use all these products as a daily skin care routine to make my skin younger and healthier?

Well, my answer to you is NO! You don't need a 12 step Korean skin care routine because your skin can only absorb a certain amount. Excess daily application is just waist of time, and money! Nevertheless, in my opinion there is a minimum daily essential skin care routine you should follow.

Toning, Moisturising and Sunscreen!

Toner
A lot of us seem to underestimate the effects of using a good toner, but I urge you to please use it! Toner not only removes excess dirt and oil from your face but also enhances the absorption of moisturiser on the skin.

Moisturising
Finding the right daily moisturiser that suits your skin type can be the hardest part. Due to the weather, the daily stresses of life or a big night out, your skin condition changes all the time. Your skin basically needs a good balance of hydration and nutrition.

Sunscreen
The Majority of skin damage is due to over exposure to UV light. Exposure to the sun causes dark spots, wrinkles even on a cloudy day. Prevention from damage is easier than repair, so please use a sunscreen cream every day! Most cosmetic products tell us what wonderful ingredients they contain. At Kskin we think the more important question is a products ability to penetrate deep to the inner skin. That's just one difference between high street and cosmeceutical products.

Many products just cover the surface of the skin, contain a lovely fragrance and leave your skin feeling instantly moist without addressing any problem your skin might have. In most cases they are unable to penetrate deeply to make your skin stronger, so it can defend itself in the long run! Cosmeceutical products aim to fix fundamental problems by reaching deeper to the skin to deliver their vital ingredients. Our carefully selected products comprise of natural ingredients and can therefore be used by everyone as they are free of components that can aggravate your skin such as fragrances, artificial colours and parabens, sulphates and mineral oils.

I’d like to introduce some of the KSKIN products and share my experiences with you here over time. In the meantime I will continue researching for the best products to bring you healthier, younger looking skin.
